VINEYARD:
- Location: Monteu Roero
- Grape variety: Barbera
- Soil: chalky and clayey.
- Age of vineyard: more the n 40 years.
VINIFICATION:
- Maceration: traditional, skin contact for 15 days and 2 days of “delestage”.
- Maturation: 16 months in French Barrique which 30% in new Barrique.
- Aging of the bottle: horizontal, 10 years.
SENSORY PROFILE:
Compact red colour, almost impenetrable. Blackberry and cherry fragrance. Warm taste, it reminds ripe fruits and plums jam. Rich and spicy after taste.
